Leaves of Absence

As much as we love having you as part of the Ancestry family, we know that you also have your own family at home and that personal issues may arise that you need to tend to. Occasionally you may need to be away from work for an extended period of time, like when you have a baby, become injured, or need to care for a family member. In these cases, you can request a leave of absence. If you live in California, you may be eligible for state-specific leave benefits. Note: To be eligible for a leave of absence, your qualified life event must occur while you’re an Ancestry employee. There is no extension of leave time beyond what is allowed by State and Federal law and our Ancestry leave policies.
