Bereavement Leave

If you’re a full-time employee, you may take paid bereavement leave of up to five days in the event of the death of your spouse, domestic partner, or child (including adopted children and stepchildren) and up to two paid days in the event of the death of your parent or stepparent, sibling or stepsibling, grandparent, grandchild, parent-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, or other immediate family member to prepare for and attend funeral services. You may take up to one day of unpaid bereavement leave to attend funeral services for other family members or close friends if the leave is approved in advance by your manager (you’re required to apply any accrued PTO time toward such a leave). Bereavement leave must be approved by HR.
