Non-California Employees

Type of Leave Eligibility Benefit Payment Schedule

Maternity

180 days of employment

Up to 12 weeks fully paid

  • First week of disability fully paid by Ancestry
  • Ancestry supplements for weeks covered by STD (up to 11 max)
  • Ancestry fully pays any remaining weeks after STD ends
  • Maximum paid benefit: 12 weeks

Parental/Adoption/Foster Care

180 days of employment

Up to 6 weeks fully paid

California Employees

Type of Leave Eligibility Benefit Payment Schedule

Maternity

180 days of employment

Up to 12 weeks fully paid

  • First week of disability fully paid
  • Ancestry supplements for 5 weeks of pay covered by SDI & STD
  • Once you convert to bonding leave (PFL), Ancestry supplements 6 weeks of pay above pay received by state for PFL to satisfy SFPPLO
  • Maximum paid benefit: 12 weeks

Parental/Adoption/Foster Care

180 days of employment

Up to 6 weeks fully paid

  • Ancestry supplements for up to 6 weeks of pay covered by PFL
